As most of you are aware, our learners have been a big part of ‘The Special Olympics’. We have pleasure in announcing the following events which are to raise funds for this amazing organisation.
All welcome, we would love to see you there:
- Race Night on Friday the 15thof March @ Teams Club, Gateshead.
- Family Fun Day & Real Ale Festival on Saturday the 1st June 12pm ’til late
@ Brewery Tap, Wellington Road, NE11 9HS.
(Tickets are £7.50 per person and children under 16 go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Children Welcome until 8pm).
The following entertainment will be available on the day:
Gung Ho Challenge- a range of parents/carers/coaches/volunteers & Athletes are taking part in the Gung Ho Challenge which is a 5k inflatable assault course.
Special Olympics Gateshead will pay the entry fee in return of £100 each in sponsorship money.
